Just recently, for the first time in my life, I accidentally knocked off a driver's side mirror from a Chrysler here in Los Angeles while trying to squeeze into a tight parking spot with my huge Ford E150 Econoline work van. I have only been driving this van for a week now and was not used to how large it is, and also it is almost impossible to judge how far out the front bumper is from the driver's seat. So yes, it can happen to almost anybody.
